The Broad Institute’s state-of-the-art 145,000-square-foot facility at 27 Blue Sky Drive in Burlington, MA, serves as the new home for its Genomics Platform and Clinical Labs. This cutting-edge space is outfitted with high-quality Optima™ benches featuring durable gray phenolic tops, sleek suspended cabinets, and versatile two-tier shelving with stainless steel retaining rods. Designed for flexibility, these pre-plumbed and pre-wired benches easily connect to ceiling service panels and can be relocated as needed to meet the evolving demands of research. To further support dynamic workflows, adjustable-height tables with integrated suspended storage are strategically placed along walls, complemented by robust wall shelving. The lab’s waterproof sink stations are equipped with epoxy countertops, drop-in sinks, marine edges, and stainless steel pegboards. For safety, Safeguard™ fume hoods are paired with flammable and acid storage cabinets below. Wall-mounted tool storage pegboards, Metro shelving units, and a stainless steel scullery sink provide efficient utility access and versatile storage solutions. These thoughtful installations reflect our commitment to creating adaptable, high-functioning laboratory environments that support the Broad Institute’s groundbreaking research in genomic medicine — advancing innovations that will benefit humanity for years to come.
