ARCHITECT: Smith Sinnett Architecture
CONTRACTOR: Garanco, Inc.
New England Lab played a key role in the Forsyth Technical Community College Main Campus renovations in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, transforming over 69,000 square feet of educational space into a modern facility that fosters advanced learning focused on community support. The upgrades include specialized spaces like nursing, birthing, and medication labs; a wellness center; and chemistry, computer, and tutoring labs. New England Lab provided custom plain sliced oak veneer lab casework along with black phenolic countertops to support instructional storage needs and hands-on student group lab activities. Labconco Premier Series fume hoods provide a safe area to work with hazardous chemicals, some of which can be stored below the hood in flammable or corrosive storage base cabinets. This cohesive, state-of-the-art campus now stands ready to support FTCC’s mission of educational excellence for years to come.
